The Communities: Tequesta
Cypress Ridge
Cypress Ridge is another very small collection of newer homes, built around 2005, and
with many of the features today's buyer wants. Tucked out of the way north of Tequesta
drive, as with all of Tequesta you are close to everything and get those great ocean
breezes. All schools are Jupiter's "A" rated, Town Hall, the Library, Post Office, Publix,
Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and many restaurants are all just minutes away without the
hassle of traffic.
Jupiter in the Pines
Jupiter in the Pines is one of Tequesta's small neighborhoods of affordable family
housing. If you like the traditional Florida ranch style look with larger lots than today's
zero lot line developments, you will like the Tequesta area. As with Cypress Ridge
above, you are right in the middle of the Tequesta good life.
Key West Village
Located between US Highway 1 and the Intracoastal Waterway, Key West Village
picks up all the great ocean breeze. Being so close to US 1, you can access all the
shops and restaurants within minutes. The homes in Key West Village are about
2,000 sq.ft. in size.
North Passage
North Passage is a very interesting waterfront community nestled right up against
Jonathan Dickinson State Park both on the land and waterfront sides. North
Passage was built along 2 man-made canals so the homes are waterfront and they
have access to the Atlantic Ocean by heading out the Jupiter Inlet. Some of the
homes have waterfront access in the rear and look across to the park from the front
others look across to Riverbend Golf Club.
Abaoca is the major new community in Jupiter. In fact, the planned community is a
Riverside Oaks
Riverside Pines
The homes in Riverside Pines are modest in size but built on larger lots. Many of the
floor plans are the 3 Br/2Ba configuration favored by retirees. As time has gone on,
many of the older residents have been replaced by young families looking for starter
homes where the kids are still small enough to share a bedroom and can play
outside without fear of the traffic. Great evening breezes!
Tequesta Pines
Just like Riverside Pines above, Tequesta Pines is a slightly larger community built
on winding streets and on larger lots. Tequesta Pines is a community of highly
desirable yet affordable homes.
Tequesta Country Club
Tequesta Country Club is a very diverse area built with a clubhouse and golf course,
riverfront estate homes, golf course homes and a mix of older residents and younger
families looking for larger lots, quiet streets and room for updating a home or entire
area is undergoing a major shift in population. Great schools in Jupiter too!
Turtle Creek Country Club
Turtle Creek County Club is Tequesta's other private and award winning golf course.
County. Turtle Creek has some riverfront, Florida ranch style homes and some on
the course itself. Just like Tequesta County Club, the area is giving way to younger
families who are looking for something other than zero lot line developments and
would like to tackle a rehab project.
The Village of Tequesta is one of Palm Beach County's most
overlooked residential locations. The Village of Tequesta is located on
County at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Due to its location on the
Jupiter Inlet and the Loxahatchee River, the Village of Tequesta has a
its riverfront estate homes and the Tequesta Country Club, it is also
home to Turtle Creek Country Club and several smaller & older
developments built mostly during the 1970's. However, the area is
undergoing a revitalization due to its proximity to the ocean and other
located municipal services, Jupiter Medical Center and, or course,
those fabulous ocean breezes.
The Village of Tequesta is located between the Atlantic Ocean, the
Intracoastal Waterway, the Loxahatchee River (a National Wild &
Scenic River) and Jonathan Dickinson Park and straddles the Palm
Beach/Martin County line. Along the southern tip of Jupiter Island, you
will find oceanfront condominiums running up to the several millions of
dollars and the small community of Jupiter Inlet Colony.
Once you cross the Intracoastal Waterway onto the mainland, you find
estate homes and Florida vernacular style homes along the
Loxahatchee River all with direct ocean access via the Jupiter Inlet.
This area is changing very quickly as the older ranch style homes are
demolished to make way for new, very large homes. In the center of
The Village of Tequesta is the Tequesta Country Club. Here, in
addition to riverfront homes, you will find golf course homes.
Tequesta Country Club homes are older, Florida ranch style homes,
many with pools on large lots where citrus trees thrive. The Country
Club has a clubhouse and a great golf course.
The Village of Tequesta is home to many small developments like
Riverside Oaks, River Ridge and Heritage Oaks, and all share the
same quiet ambiance for which the area is famous.
Built around 2003, Riverside Oaks is one circular street, around a lake, of about 60
contemporary styled homes. Most resemble Jupiter's Egret Landing and were built
by the same builder. They feature higher ceilings, crown molding, Saturnia floors,
